Reference photos auto-delete 30 days after delivery. Character Bible deleted after 90 days. We never use your face for marketing without explicit written consent. You can request earlier deletion anytime — email hello@fakesme.com.
Do my photos leave the EU?+
Your selfies and Character Bible are stored on EU servers (Supabase eu-central-1, Frankfurt). Image generation uses Flux and Midjourney models — some inference infrastructure runs in the US, but your raw reference photos never leave our servers. We only send prompts + parameterized Character Bible (no raw images) to model APIs.
Biometric data — when exactly do you delete my selfies?+
Reference selfies are treated as biometric data under GDPR Art. 9. We retain them only for the duration of the order — automatic deletion 30 days after final delivery. The Character Bible (a parameterized representation of your face, no raw photos) is kept for 90 days for revisions. After 90 days everything is wiped automatically. You can request immediate deletion any time — POST /api/privacy/delete or email hello@fakesme.com.
What if your server gets hacked and my selfies leak?+
Selfies are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We retain them only 30 days — the worst-case exposure window is finite. We carry cyber liability insurance. In case of an incident we follow GDPR Art. 33 (reporting to the supervisory authority within 72h) and will notify you directly. We don't use AWS S3 without VPC, we run WAF on Vercel, and we never commit any private data to git.
