Every image delivered by fake.me is synthetic content generated by an AI model. It is not documentary photography.
What we do for your safety
- C2PA metadata embedded in every JPG (Adobe/Microsoft/OpenAI standard confirming AI origin)
- EXIF tag 'Generated by fake.me — AI synthetic content'
- Compliance with EU AI Act (Art. 50) and Meta/TikTok AI labeling guidelines
- Automatic deletion of your reference photos 30 days after delivery
What you should do
- Instagram: when posting an AI image, go to Advanced Settings → 'Label AI content'
- TikTok: on upload, enable the 'AI-generated content' toggle
- Add #aicontent or #madewithAI in the caption
- If the content is used in a brand campaign — inform the brand it is AI
Why it matters
Transparency protects you (legal consequences from August 2026 under EU AI Act), protects your followers (they know what they're seeing) and protects fake.me (we build on honesty, not deepfake mechanics). We are pro-AI and pro-transparency. One doesn't work without the other.
